I believe when we are detached from our emotions and can’t express ourselves effectively, it feels frustrating and causes anger, depression and anxiety. Relationships at home and at work suffer.
Feeling overwhelmed, shame, guilt or fear can cause deep anxiety.
People often build shields to protect themselves from these feelings. When there is a veil between you and the world it can cause you to feel even more isolated, frightened and alone.
Most people don’t take action until they are in pain. They try to solve their problems themselves. When that doesn’t work, they feel depressed, angry and out of control.
They often get stuck because they don’t see how to move forward. Psychotherapy can move you forward.
My job is to connect people to feelings that create direction. This connects them to their goals and creates real results.
In my Psychotherapy practice, you get unstuck. We all have developmental deficiencies that put our responses on autopilot, but with professional guidance, you can break through.
I work with people to become more assertive, more connected with their emotions and increase their ability to process them in a healthy way. They begin to feel joyful, confident and relationships improve personally and professionally.
People tell me they feel like their real self again. They connect to a deeper part of themselves they couldn’t see before. Satisfaction increases and as possibilities open up the emptiness dissolves. They begin to feel like their lives matter.
